Instead of reproducing the same garden on repeat creative garden designs are outdoor spaces that are built to reflect our client’s style, which is why we used reclaimed materials for this garden build.

We created a space that feels like a new area to enjoy outside the home but that didn’t mean that we turned up and destroyed what was there before in pursuit of a stunning garden build. Of course we still created a stunning design and most of it is new but this pretty little gate is an example of using what was there already.

In addition to being sustainable there was absolutely no way that we could discard this previous addition from the old garden. Just look at how pretty it is. Rustic with a delicate finish this beauty has an elegant feel. We tidied the old gate and gave it pride of place at the top of the garden.

This garden has a secluded space away from the house which is a balance of old and new. This spot hosts a newly built garden room opposite an apple tree which has been untouched and built around. This was the perfect site to install the gate to create a feeling of separation from the main garden as people slip into this secluded space.

As you approach the gate and move into the calm spot  you will find more references to the previous life of the garden. There are garden furnishings from a chiminea and old stones to another iron gate. Rather than buying new and discarding the old. This garden has instant personality but these clever little additions also serve a purpose. The little wooden gate is a pretty addition whereas the iron gate will be used instead of a trellis to grow plants and provide further privacy.

When designed properly a garden is more than an outdoor space, it’s an extra room. In this case it’s an extra room with personality.
