The layout has been carefully considered to move away from a single open garden into multiple defined zones, each with its own purpose and identity. A central axis draws you through the garden via a framed walkway, formed with bespoke timber structures and raised rendered planters, creating rhythm, scale and progression through the space.

At a lower level, a sunken seating area introduces a more intimate environment, designed for evening use and social gatherings. This is complemented by a dedicated outdoor television area and a separate hot tub zone, allowing the garden to function across different times of day and throughout the year.

Planting has been integrated to soften the architectural elements while maintaining structure. Semi-mature trees have been positioned within raised beds to provide immediate impact, vertical interest, and a sense of establishment from day one.

From a construction perspective, the project has involved extensive groundworks and level adjustments to resolve existing site constraints and improve the relationship between the house and garden. Drainage, thresholds, and long-term performance have been considered throughout to ensure durability as well as visual quality.

The build programme spans approximately five months in total, with the primary construction phase delivered over the first four months. The project is now progressing through its final stages, where detailed finishes, planting, and feature elements are being refined to complete the overall vision.

As the garden evolves, each space will become more defined, ultimately delivering a cohesive, high-end outdoor living environment designed for both everyday use and long-term enjoyment.
